Parental Involvement Opportunities
 
Parents are welcome to participate in school events and are respected partners in their students' education.
 
Some of the ways we involve our parents are:
  • School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee,
  • Monthly cafecitos in our school library with the principal,
  • During the month of December Cesar Chavez and Green Oaks Academy hosts its annual Posada where families can be involved in a wonderful dinner and entertainment from our students.
  • Parents of our 8th grade students have the opportunity to watch their students promote to high school at our annual Ravenswood City School District promotion ceremony.
